Our location is so central that you can park your car for your entire stay. - For security purposed, there is a ring spotlight camera at the front door, pointed towards the street. The camera does not save images, it is there for our guests safety only. - Sleeps 10. There are 4 queen beds (one in each bedroom) and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. - We have a Graco on-the-go Pack'n'Play Playard with bassinet insert if you are traveling with small children along with a baby gate, some toys and baby books, plus a high chair in the dining room. - Our pipes are old! The house was built in 1908. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. For your convenience, we provide sustainable disposal bags for feminine products. - We care about you, and the environment! Our house is equipped with supplies from Public Goods. A company that supplies eco-friendly, sustainable and healthy products. You'll find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and lotion in the bathrooms. Dishwasher soap and pods in the kitchen and laundry pods in the laundry room. We also don't want you to use someone else's grimy sponge - each stay receives a new compostable sponge. Don't worry about running out of toilet paper, we have a subscription to Who Gives A Crap (we do!), you'll be supplied with all the bamboo TP and paper towels you need for your stay. Good for you, good for the planet, good for us! - There are closets & drawers in each bedroom, and bathroom shelves, for you to unpack and make yourself at home. Extra blankets and pillows can be found in your closet. - Both bathrooms are accessible from the hallways, the upstairs bathroom has a separate bathtub and walk-in shower. - Our driveway has room for 2 cars, there is also plenty of free street parking right outside the door.

Many guests arrive by car or rent one when they arrive. For guests with cars there are two driveway spaces and plenty of free, on-street parking. Here are some tips if you choose not to have a car: From the Airport: Either take a taxi or use local transportation. Chatham Area Transit runs an hourly shuttle to and from the airport to downtown. The Chatham Area Transit website is a good source of information for you about local transportation. In the Historic District: There is a FREE shuttle bus - DOT - that will take you around the Historic District. Additionally, if you intend to take tours that use transportation, ask them if they will pick you up at the house or if there is a pick up location near the house. If you wander around all day and exhaust yourself, take a pedicab back to the house. Uber/Lyft rides are very inexpensive around Savannah as well. If you want to go to the Mighty Eighth WWII Air Force Museum or to Tybee Island, you may need a car or ask at the Visitor's Information Center if there are ways to get there without one. 5 block / 8 minute walk to Forsyth park (central park of Savannah) 1/2 block / 1 minute walk to Mother Matilda Beasley Park (hidden gem!) 7 block / 8 minute walk to Kroger grocery store 2 block / 4 minute walk to Johnnie Ganems beer, wine & liquor store 0.7 mile / 14 minute walk to Broughton Street (main downtown street) 0.9 mile / 19 minute walk to River Street
